Pajama Party!

Look — it’s the Chicago Cubs dressed in onesies! Manager Joe Maddon thought it would be a fun way to have the team bond. So the baseball players put on their pajamas and took pictures in the dugout on Sunday night.

This was right after the Cubs beat the Dodgers — and pitcher Jake Arrieta threw a no-hitter. So the Cubbies had somethingĀ great to celebrate as they flew home from L.A. in their soft and fuzzy sleep attire.

Some highlights:

Third baseman Kris Bryant: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles onesie.

Pitcher Jake Arrietta: grey mustache-print onesie.

Reliever Hector Rondon: Superman onesie with cape.

Second baseman Starlin Castro: Super Mario Brothers onesie.

Reliever Justin Grimm: Shark onesie with fins and tail.

Manager Joe Maddon: green flight suit onesie.

The Cubs are competing for a Wild Card spot in the MLB playoffs. And wearing such silly PJs will allow them to have fun while doing so!

    • Hey Mark it’s okay, I haven’t seen Cubbies onesies for sale at Wrigley Field anyway. Just keep writing your Canuck Cubbie blog to keep me updated, and we’re good!
